17 things for 2017

2017I’m supposed to make a list, as quickly as I can, of the 17 things I want to accomplish in 2017. The idea is to be spontaneous, write down the first thing that comes to mind and see what I come up with.

So, I give you, with no regard to order or sense –

Tired Mama’s List of 17 Things to do in 2017

  1. Figure out how to make a better blog header.
  2. Meet my writing goals.
  3. Stop doing shit I hate. (Surely someone else can do the laundry around here.)
  4. Do something FUN everyday. (Who’s with me?)
  5. Be brave. (No idea what this means, it just came up. So, there it is.)
  6. Purge all the stuff in the attic. (Bye-bye, old stuff.)
  7. Find the perfect brownie recipe.
  8. Throw out the basket of unmatched socks beside the dryer.
  9. Eat more vegetables.
  10. Figure out how to cook vegetables so they taste good.
  11. Eat more cookies.
  12. Sit and have tea with my daughters.
  13. Go for a walk with my son.
  14. Get rid of this cold that I’ve had since December.
  15. Sleep more.
  16. Sleep better.
  17. Just, sleep. (Yep, definitely a theme going on for the last three.)

What are you trying to accomplish this year?

  1. How do you cook your vegetables? We like raw better than cooked, but I think the cooked ones taste better when they’re minimally prepared, and still maintain some crunch (so, quick and simple, rather than long and complicated). Maybe a combo blog post worthy to think about here…we can brainstorm some. 🙂 (I love food!)
