I can Snapchat. No, not really.

snapchatWhile we were at a restaurant waiting for our dinner tonight, my daughters taught me how to use Snapchat.

My youngest daughter uses this app a LOT so, I wanted to know more about it.

Snapchat is an image messaging application with a target audience of 13 to 23-year-olds.

Yep, that would be me!

Not.

But, after I played with the app for a while I found a few real life friends (who are my age) who also have Snapchat, so now we’re going for a streak.

The way I understand it, a streak is when you use the Snapchat app to trade messages back and forth for a few days.

The longer you do it, the longer your streak is.

Why is this a good thing?

I have no idea.

But, the other women I am Snapchatting (is that a real verb?) all have kids, jobs, houses, interests and things like, LIVES.

So, I give us about two days doing this Snapchat streak thing before it ‘s over.

And yeah, I’m old.

Sigh.
