I was working on an article earlier today when I realized I was rubbing my eyes.
My eyes were tired and dry – this has been happening a lot lately.
I then remembered that I had paid almost $300 today for something that was supposed to stop this.
Yes, today I filled a prescription for reading glasses.
I have glasses.
This is big for me. I have always had really good eye-sight. I have always been the one who could read signs on the highway long before anyone else could.
I have always had better then 20-20 vision. Okay, I'm not even sure there is such a thing, but as a kid I had a friend who would call me 'hawk-eye'.
But times change and now, as I type this, I am wearing reading glasses and everything on my screen is now uh, bigger and clearer then it was before I put my new glasses on.
I guess this is probably the point but still it's going to take some getting used to.
I am now 'four-eyed-to-be-hawk-eyed-again'.
