Spring Fever

Spring fever has hit our town and it's not good.

Nothing is getting done.

Reports from the school are that my boy and his friends are all acting silly. They don't want to be indoors learning math and verbs, they want to be outside. These kids are thinking about swimming and baseball and lying around doing sweet nothing.

I can't say I blame them. I didn't even bother talking to my son about it.

When I reminded my daughter yesterday that she had to practice her music before she could go out and play she gave me a look that would have led you to believe that I was torturing her.

I'm supposed to be working today too.

But here I am.

I'm also looking at the flats of flowers sitting in the sunshine outside my window and thinking I should go out and garden.

That's work isn't it? Sort of?

Sigh.

How many days until summer vacation starts?
