Klutzy Kids

My youngest daughter fell out of her bed last night and woke up the whole house.

My eldest daughter fell off her rolling desk chair today. It sounded like she was falling through my office ceiling.

My son kicked a wall today while walking and bruised his foot quite badly.

Yes, my children seem to be uh, balance-challenged these days.

They get that from their father's side of the family.

  1. I used to fall out of bed occasionally when I was very little. One night I collided with a nightstand on my way down. To this day I have a huge dimple in my right cheek when I smile, that wasn’t there before I hit the table.

  2. Middle Child has that sort of grace despite years of dancing lessons. She once fractured her ankle without having the ability to pinpoint precisely how it happened because she spends so much of her day getting up from falling down. She’s much like her mother in that respect.

  3. I wish I could blame my husband for a certain child’s klutziness, but she gets it straight from me! I’m pretty sure I got it from my mother. LOL!
Stop on by our blog and I sent you an email yesterday!
