Exercise or Ice Cream or Both

Today is the last day to enter my draw to win an IPod shuffle and a $20 iTunes gift card.

All you need to do is exercise for 15 minutes today and comment below and I'll enter you into the draw.

Today my youngest had a music exam, so I drove her to that, and now it's time for me to get in my fifteen minutes of exercise. What should I do?

I went to the Fit in 15 website and got some ideas.

I could:

  • walk or run
  • stretch/shrug/pull
  • lift canned goods
  • squat
  • stair-walk

These all sound good but there is also a carton of Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream in the freezer calling my name.

  1. So, how many minutes do you have to exercise to counteract the chocolate peanut butter ice cream? If you got a dog, you could walk it and that could count for your 15 minutes. I’ve been doing longer walks to get a break from the kids 2 X 30 minutes, yeah me! Yeah sanity! πŸ™‚

  2. Okay, I have resisted the FitIn15 all this week because even 15 minutes seemed like too much, but today I managed to walk my kids to school and back on the way there AND back. That’s like, 45 minutes of exercise!
    And also, 45 minutes of whining and complaining. By them, not me. It’s going to be a long year next year when we give up the school bus!

  3. I got in 20 today- not my best, not my worst- what a great idea, wish I had known sooner.
    I bet a lot of people are getting off their butts for the chance to win.

  4. I’ve been doing it every day since you started this … some days an hour, some days it’s a push to get that 14:58, 14:59, aahhhhhhh 15:00!!! Thanks for this motivation my friend because I have lost two pounds.
