Save me.

My three children are in the kitchen cleaning up from lunch.

Did I have to go in there and yell at them to make it happen? Yep.

I’m getting a little concerned because they’ve been in there now for almost twenty minutes.

They only had to put away the peanut butter, load the dishwasher and wipe off the counters.

I can hear them laughing though.

I guess this is good, but the water has been running almost the entire time they’ve been working.

I don’t want to go in there, but I’m afraid if I don’t we might need to start building an ark.

When can I send them back to school?

Soon? Pretty please?

  1. I know the feeling. My girls go back to school in 48 days! Some days I cannot wait, others I remember that it means I have to get up at 5:30 AM again!

  2. Would you please come to my house and convince my kids to clean up after lunch…please…pretty please with a cherry on top? I am not looking forward to school starting again…I don’t like the homework, and all of the extracurricular activities that go along with the school year.

  3. Hmmm…silence almost always means trouble… I gotta tell you though, there are definitely times when my girls are quiet and I’m pretty sure they are making some type of mischief, but I choose to just enjoy the silence for a moment and live in ignorant bliss. Course, I always end up paying for it in the long run….

  4. As long as there isn’t silence or the sound of water crashing – you techinically SHOULD be okay. Keep hiding until then and only then.
AND WOWZA Leanne, I LOVE that flower shot. WELL DONE my friend!
